Information gathers, assembles and forms itself into an integrated perspective. We as humans have to learn by experience what this information represents. It is not fixed. The view can change based on our perceptual attitude. Look at the sclera. It is not a sclera, but a representation of one. The curtain gives the appearance of a sclera. What about the pupil? There is a story in the pupil a fence, a street, a car wheel, grass. Whatever meaning we place onto the information is what creates the experience.

Seeing is a constantly changing process that demands our human flexibility. If we just see an eye because we think it is this, then we have limited the possibility to see more deeply into the picture, and therefore life.

Is a Strong Minus Lens a Drug?

Minus lenses are prescribed to increase sharpness. You call this 20/20. What effect does this have on the human being?
Superficially one could say the person is happier, they look more sharply. What about the deeper effects, like
their peripheral world view being less? Does a strong minus lens increase the 'ego' self centred view, a greater
focus inward with less concern for others, a separation from reality?
